There are two ways to use your Payoneeraccount with eWallets and other payment providers:
Receive funds using your receiving accounts.
You can use your receiving account details to receive payments from companies in the US, EU, UK, Japan, and other regions (per eligibility), as well as from certain eWallets and other payment providers. Payments sent through receiving accounts will be loaded directly to your Payoneeraccount (there is no need to verify your Payoneer card with your eWallet for this action). The time it takes for the payment to reach Payoneer is entirely up to the sender, and Payoneer does not have any control over the transfer time. Most ACH, SEPA, BACS and Zengin payments take between 1-3 business days.
For further information on using receiving accounts, please refer to this FAQ page.
Link your Payoneer card to your eWallet or other payment provider to make purchases.
If you have a Payoneer card with an active balance, it may be possible to link your card to an eWallet or other payment provider to make payments or transfer funds. In order to verify the card, an eWallet can charge a small amount from your card. Please refer to the support center of your eWallet to find out more about the specific process.
Please note that sending funds to Neteller and Webmoney is currently not supported.
Receiving accounts only enable you to receive incoming payments. You cannot use your receiving account details to send payments to an eWallet or other payment provider - attempts to transfer funds from receiving accounts to other accounts will be automatically rejected.
However, if you have a Payoneer card with an active balance, it may be possible to link your card to an eWallet to make payments or transfer funds.
Receiving accounts can only be used to receive payments, not to make payments or otherwise be debited.
As such, PayPal may require that you link a card to your PayPal account before you provide PayPal with your receiving account details.
In addition, sometimes your specific receiving account number might be blocked by PayPal. To try and solve this, you can request a replacement receiving account that should work with PayPal, from within your Payoneeraccount. To do so, open the details page for the receiving account, click on the solution guide link, and follow the guidance provided under “I am unable to use my receiving account with PayPal, Stripe, or other payment providers”.
The above steps may also solve similar errors with other eWallets/payment providers.
If none of the steps described above helps, please contact your eWallet/payment provider to see if they can assist you further.
If you receive notification from Stripe that your receiving account is no longer valid, this is generally a result of Stripe attempting to debit your receiving account and that action failing. Remember, receiving accounts can only be used to receive payments and cannot be debited. If Stripe tries to debit your receiving account (for example if your Stripe account goes into overdraft when the number of new sales is outweighed by the number of refunds), the debit against your Payoneer receiving account will fail and Stripe will notify you that the account is no longer valid and require you to provide new bank account details.
We recommend, to the extent possible, minimizing/avoiding being in overdraft in your Stripe account, so that Stripe doesn’t try to debit your account.
However, if the above does occur and your receiving account becomes invalid, you can request a replacement receiving account within your Payoneeraccount. To do so, open the details page for the receiving account, click on the solution guide link, and follow the guidance provided under “I am unable to use my receiving account with PayPal, Stripe, or other payment providers”.
