Document Verification – FAQ

As a regulated entity and online service, Payoneer provides multi-jurisdictional compliance assurances to your business.
In doing so, Payoneer account holders may be required to submit specific documentation that will assist us in ensuring the safety and security of all transactions done via Payoneer.

To ensure the safety and security of all transactions, we may ask for supporting documents to verify details, such as, but not limited to:

  • Your identity
  • The bank details you provided
  • Your address

You submit documents to Payoneer via Verification Center, Payoneer's secure and personalized document upload system.

We strictly comply with KYC, OFAC, AML, and the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and we are also certified at a Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level 1 Data Security Standard.

Payoneer's core obligations are to protect its customers' funds and prevent money laundering.

In order to upload a document please follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to Payoneer
  2. Click the profile icon at the top of the menu on the right.
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Verification Center
  5. Select the relevant requirement from the list
  6. Upload the relevant document and click SUBMIT
  7. You will see a confirmation that the documents were uploaded successfully.

If you are providing an ID, please note that depending on your country, you may not see every ID type listed and instead will only see one or two options. We strongly suggest providing one of the recommended ID types, as this will shorten review time. If you do not have a document matching that option, you may upload another ID but please note the review time will be extended.

We recommend taking a picture of the document with your smartphone. Please make sure the document is complete (all four corners of the document should be visible and the image should be full size), document is not cropped, and the image is in high quality. If you are using the camera on your smartphone, please make sure the flash is not covering information on the document.
