Dear customer,
Today, the banks have a day off due to , but don't worry - all your bank transfers will be processed once business resumes on .
Does this message resolve the issue you were contacting us about?
Yes No
A scheduled payment is a payment that you set up to be sent at some future date. You enter the date for the payment to be sent and the payment details, and we automatically begin processing the payment at approximately midnight of the date you specified.
If you choose to add recurrence to the scheduled payment, the additional payments will be sent according to the recurrence frequency you set. For example, you can schedule a payment to be sent on a specific date every month for the next 6 months.
Payoneer lets you schedule a payment for anywhere from the following day to up to 90 days in the future.
If you are eligible to make payments to other Payoneer customers, the scheduled payments feature will be available to you in the Pay to a recipient's Payoneer account flow.
If you are eligible to make payments to recipient bank accounts, the scheduled payments feature will be available to you in the Pay to a recipient's bank account flow.
There are no additional fees to schedule a payment. The same fees apply as when making a non-scheduled payment. The fee depends on whether you make a payment in the same currency as the recipient’s currency, or whether there is a need to exchange currency to make the payment. You can get complete details of the fees from the Fees page in your Payoneer account.
You can pay recipients you do business with for business-related transactions.
You can send scheduled payments in the same currencies in which you can send non-scheduled payments.
The limits for scheduled payments are the same as those for non-scheduled payments. Any individual payment, at the time it’s sent:
- needs to be within the minimum/maximum range for an individual payment (shown when you specify the payment amount)
- cannot exceed any periodic payment limit (for example, your monthly payment limit)
- cannot be greater than the available funds in the relevant currency balance
Any payment that does not meet these criteria will not be sent.
To schedule a payment, follow these steps:
- Sign in to Payoneer.
- From the main menu, select:
- Toggle on Schedule this payment.
- Select the date on which to send the payment. You can choose from the following day up to 90 days in the future.
- To add recurrence:
- Complete the remaining payment details:
- Review the scheduled payment details (and the recurring payment plan details if you added recurrence), then click Schedule payment or Schedule recurring payment to schedule the payment.
- Pay to a recipient's Payoneer account to pay a recipient who is also a Payoneer customer.
- Pay to a recipient's bank account to pay a recipient who is not a Payoneer customer.
To see helpful tips about scheduling payments, click Scheduled payment tips.
- Select an option from the Repeats list.
- Enter the number of payments (the number of times the scheduled payment will recur.)
- If paying to a recipient's Payoneer account, follow the steps described here.
- If paying to a recipient's bank account, follow the steps here.
You’ll be able to view the scheduled payment in the Future transactions table on the Transactions page of your Payoneer account. It can sometimes take a few minutes for the scheduled payment to appear in the table.
We will begin processing the payment at approximately midnight of the date you specify when scheduling the payment.
- If paying to a recipient's Payoneer account, funds usually get sent within a few minutes.
- If paying to a recipient's bank account, funds usually get sent within 1-2 business days.
You’ll receive an email confirmation once the payment is successfully processed.
If you added recurrence, the subsequent payments will be sent based on the specified recurrence frequency, according to the same criteria described above.
Note: In some cases, you may be asked to provide documents as part of the payment approval process.
No, the amount to be paid will only be deducted from your balance when the payment is sent. Any funds in your balance on the day you create the scheduled payment remain fully available for other payments, withdrawal, or to convert currencies. In addition, the scheduled payment amount does not affect your current monthly payment limit.
Note: Make sure that on the date of the schedule payment there are enough funds in your balance to cover the payment and that the payment will not exceed your remaining monthly payment limit. If we are unable to send a scheduled payment for any reason, the payment will be canceled and we’ll let you know by email. The email will include the reason why the payment was not sent.
If the scheduled payment is part of a recurring payment plan, only the payment not sent will be canceled. The remaining scheduled payments in the plan will still get sent per the recurrence frequency you set.
Like a non-scheduled payment, you track your scheduled payments from the Transactions page in your Payoneer account.
Until it is sent, a scheduled payment (single or recurring) will appear in the Future transactions table on the Transactions page.
For a recurring payment, view the transaction’s details to see info on the recurring payment plan (including the date of the next scheduled payment, the recurrence frequency, and the number of payments remaining).
Once a scheduled payment is sent, it will appear in the All transactions table on the Transactions page.
Note that there may be a several-minute delay, when we start processing the payment, from the moment the payment disappears from the Future transactions table and then appears in the All transactions table.
Note: If we are unable to process a scheduled payment for any reason (for example insufficient balance or limits exceeded), the payment will be canceled and we’ll let you know by email. Further, for single scheduled payments, the payment will no longer appear in the Future transactions table and will also not appear in the All transactions table.
All scheduled payments that have been processed are visible in the All transactions table in the Transactions page of your Payoneer account.
When you schedule a payment from a balance of one currency to a recipient bank account in a different currency, we’ll calculate the payment amount (amount you pay or amount recipient gets) based on the current exchange rate. The calculated amount shown will not be the final amount of the payment.
The final amount will be calculated at the time the payment is actually sent, based on the exchange rate at that time. You’ll be able to see the final amount and the final exchange rate used in the All transactions table, once the payment is listed there on the date of the payment.
If you would like to track changes to the exchange rate during the period between when you created the scheduled payment and the actual payment date, you can check the scheduled payment’s details from the Future transactions table on the Transactions page (or the Home page) of your Payoneer account. Each time the Transactions page (or Home page) loads into your browser, we’ll fetch and display the latest exchange rate in the details pane. Each time you close and reopen the details pane, the latest exchange rate is displayed.
Yes, simply open the scheduled payment’s details pane from the Transactions page (or Home page) of your Payoneer account, click the Cancel button, and confirm cancelation of the payment.
You can cancel the scheduled payment until 11:30 PM local time on the day before the payment is scheduled to be sent.
You can cancel an individual payment that is part of a recurring payment plan, but doing so will also cancel all the remaining payments that are part of that plan. For example, if you set up a recurring payment to be sent on the 15th of every month for 6 months, and after 2 months you cancel the payment in the 3rd month, doing so will also cancel the remaining 4th-6th payments, essentially canceling the whole recurring payment plan.
To cancel a recurring payment, simply open the next scheduled payment’s details pane from the Transactions page (or Home page) of your Payoneer account, click the Cancel button, and confirm cancelation of the payment and all subsequent payments in that recurring payment plan.
You can cancel a scheduled payment until 11:30 PM local time on the day before the payment is scheduled to be sent.
No, scheduled payments cannot be edited. If you need to make changes (for example to dates, amounts or recipient’s bank account), simply cancel the existing scheduled payment and create a new scheduled payment.
Note that canceling an individual payment that is part of a recurring payment plan will also cancel all the remaining payments that are part of that plan, and you’ll need to create a new recurring payment.
Once a scheduled payment is sent, it will appear in the All transactions table on the Transactions page. You can select the payment in the table to see all the payment details.
We’ll also send you an email confirmation letting you know the payment was sent.
Note: There may be a several-minute delay when we start processing the payment, from the moment the payment disappears from the Future transactions table and then appears in the All transactions table.
The time it takes for a scheduled payment to reach the recipient, once processed, is similar to the time it takes for a non-scheduled payment:
- If paying to a recipient's Payoneer account, funds usually get sent within a few minutes.
- If paying to a recipient's bank account, funds usually get sent within 1-2 business days.
You’ll receive an email confirmation once the payment is successfully processed.
Note: In some cases, you may be asked to provide documents as part of the payment approval process.
No, there is no limit to the number of scheduled single or recurring payments you can create for any of your approved recipients, however any one single or recurring payment can only be scheduled for one recipient.
Yes. Like a non-scheduled payment, when you are scheduling your payment, the minimum and maximum amounts for payment are shown.
In addition, there is an overall monthly payment limit, so please make sure that your scheduled payments will not exceed your monthly limit when they are sent. Schedule payments that take you above your monthly limit will not be sent. When this happens, we’ll notify you by email.
There are various reasons why a scheduled payment might not get sent. These include:
- The payment exceeds your monthly payment limit
- There are not enough funds in your balance to cover the payment
- Technical error when attempting to send the payment
If we are unable to send a scheduled payment for any reason, the payment will be canceled and we’ll let you know by email. The email will include the reason why the payment was not sent.
If one occurrence of a recurring payment is not sent, this does not affect the future payments scheduled to be sent, unless the reason the payment was not sent is still relevant at the time of the next recurrence. For example, if you have a payment scheduled to be sent every Thursday and by the third Thursday of the month you’ve reached your monthly payment limit and the payment is not sent, then the payment on the fourth Thursday will also not get sent for the same reason.
If the reason the payment is not sent is no longer relevant by the time the next payment is due to be sent, that payment will be sent as usual. For example, if you have a monthly recurring payment and the payment in June is not sent due to insufficient funds or payment limit for June being exceeded, the July payment will still be sent assuming there is sufficient funds in the balance and the payment limit has not been reached at the time of the payment.
Note: When a scheduled payment does not get sent for any reason, it will no longer appear in the Future transactions table and will also not appear in the All transactions table.
If your recipient’s Payoneer account, or the balance to which you were sending the payment, was closed or blocked, you’ll need to cancel any scheduled payments to that recipient. If not canceled, any future attempts to process payments to that recipient will fail.
