Payoneer has integrated Singpass via Know Your Customer. This allows you to verify your identity using Singpass, a trusted authentication system.

In the Payoneer registration process as an individual, sole proprietor, or authorized representative of a company, you can choose to verify using Singpass. Once you complete the registration, you’ll receive a unique link via SMS, email, or in-app notification. Click the link to verify using Singpass.

Once you click the link you receive after registration, you’ll be asked to agree to the terms and conditions and data policy. Then, you can complete the Singpass authentication, review the data, and agree to submit it to Payoneer. Once completed, sign in to your Payoneer account to check if you have any other verification requirements to submit.

During the Payoneer registration process, you have the option to choose between Singpass verification or manual verification. Opting for Singpass verification significantly reduces the ID verification time for individuals, sole proprietors, and authorized representatives.

After 90 days of inactivity, the link will expire and you will need to re-register with a new email.

For all customers resident in Singapore, we collect either a national ID or work visa (NRIC/FIN). This ensures compliance with ID verification requirements and allows us to compare your ID number to your Singpass account.

Company document requirements include the following:

• ACRA Business Profile
• This can be purchased here: Bizfile.gov
• Memorandum and Articles of Association (M&AA) or Articles of Association
• Board Resolution
• We will provide you with an electronic PDF to fill in, which can also be accessed here: Board Resolution template
• Company address verification
• Needed to verify if principal address is different from registered
• Business owner information
• Required to identify all 25% or more ultimate beneficial owners (UBO), authorized representative and directors’ information.

Once you click the link to the electronic PDF, follow the instructions on required fields that can be electronically filled. You will need a signature from the authorized representative, and at least two directors (this can be a director and a company secretary).

To add signatures for the authorized representative and directors you should:

1. Click the signature field you want to add.

- If you need to replace an existing signature, click the paint brush icon to the right of the signature field first to remove the existing signature.

2. From the options provided, choose a method to add a signature that’s suitable for the signer.

- For the QR code option, you can screenshot and send the QR code to the signer

3. Once completed, the document should auto update with their signature.

Save or send yourself a copy of the completed Board Resolution to submit in Verification Center.

For the UBO of the company, the following documents are required:

• Government-issued photo ID
• Address verification (proof of residence)

The authorized representative of the company must provide the following documents:

• Government-issued photo ID OR Singpass verification*
• Address verification (proof of residence) OR Singpass verification*
* The authorized representative must choose this option during registration

We are not able to disclose any specific reasons why applications are declined, but if you feel this was an error, please try again using a new email account and ensure all your registration details match your Singpass details or ID documentation provided.

Once you have provided all the information requested in Verification Center, your account will be reviewed by our team. Approval time can vary between individuals and companies. To ensure your review process is completed as quickly as possible, please make sure you thoroughly read and follow all instructions and tips included when submitting your information, and keep up-to-date with any emails and account notifications you may receive.

If you’d prefer to verify manually, but you’ve already chosen to verify with Singpass, follow these steps:

1. Click the link in the Singpass verification email, SMS, or in-app notification you received.
2. On the page that opens, make sure the access code is already entered, then click Submit.

- If the access code is not already entered, you can find it at the end of the link you received

3. Agree to the terms.
4. Click Verify manually with Payoneer.

Note that manual verification takes longer and may require certified ID documents.
