CNY quota pooling

Your CNY quota is the amount limit you can withdraw or pay in CNY to bank accounts in mainland China. In this article, "quota" means your CNY quota.

For more on how CNY quota works, see CNY quota management – FAQ.

Quota pooling lets a manager account pool its quota with the quotas of its connected accounts into one shared total.

Any account in the pool can use that shared total for CNY withdrawals or payments to bank accounts in mainland China.

If your business uses multiple Payoneer accounts, some accounts may run low on CNY quota while others can still have a lot.

Quota pooling gives you one shared total quota from your manager and connected accounts. Any account in the pool can use the shared total.

A quota is based on the transaction data we've received from your connected stores and uploaded transaction records from the last 12 months. The shared total is the combined quota of all accounts in the pool.

When you make a CNY withdrawal or payment, we use the oldest available transactions in the pool, regardless of which account contributed them. This means the quota you contributed can be used by other accounts in the pool.

No, you can't choose to use only your own quota. We use the oldest available quota in the pool for each CNY withdrawal and payment. It can be the quota from you or another account.

Yes.

  • A connected account can leave at any time from Manage settings on the Quota pooling details page.
  • A manager account can stop quota pooling for all accounts in the pool.
  • When quota pooling has started, a connected account who disconnects from the manager account will leave quota pooling automatically.

Any account that leaves, or whose pooling is stopped, keeps the unused quota it contributed to the pool as its individual quota.

Yes. After your quota is pooled, open the Quota pooling details page to see how much was pooled from your account.

This usually happens for one of these reasons:

  • Your manager stopped quota pooling.
  • You disconnected from your manager account.
