FAQs

How do I buy stablecoin for my wallet?
Go to the Bridge stablecoin wallet page in your Payoneer account, open the more actions menu, and select Buy stablecoin. Enter the amount in USD you want to pay from your Payoneer balance, review the details, and confirm. Bridge will facilitate the conversion and you'll receive USDC in your Bridge wallet.

What currency can I use to buy stablecoin with Bridge?
You can buy stablecoin using your Payoneer USD balance.

Which stablecoin can I buy?
You can buy USDC.

Is there a fee for buying stablecoin?
Yes. A fee for moving funds from your USD balance is deducted from the amount you pay. You'll see the fee, the amount after the fee, and the exchange rate before you confirm.

Can the final amount added to my wallet be different from the estimate I saw when I made the purchase?
No. The final amount added to your wallet should be the same as the estimate you saw when you confirmed the purchase. The exchange rate should remain stable.

Are there limits on how much stablecoin I can buy with Bridge?
Yes. There is a minimum and maximum amount per transaction. The minimum applies to the amount after fees, so you'll need to enter enough to cover the fee as well.

There is also a limit to how much stablecoin you can buy with Bridge daily and monthly. This limit applies only to buying stablecoin. The daily limit resets at midnight UTC each day. The monthly limit resets on the first of every month.

Limits are shown in the interface when you enter an amount, and you can select View limits for the full details.

Can I cancel a stablecoin purchase after confirming?
No. Once you confirm a purchase, it cannot be canceled or reversed.

How long does it take for the stablecoin I bought to be added to my wallet by Bridge?
Funds usually arrive in your Bridge wallet within hours, but it may take up to 2 business days in some cases. You can track the status in your stablecoin wallet and in your Payoneer transaction table.

What will I see in my Payoneer balance?
You’ll see a transaction for removing the funds from your Payoneer balance to move to Bridge.

The Bridge wallet functions separately from your Payoneer account, so you won’t see anything related to USDC or your Bridge wallet. You can see information about the USDC being added to your Bridge wallet in your stablecoin wallet page.

Can I move funds from my Bridge stablecoin wallet back to my Payoneer balance?
No, not directly. You can make a withdrawal to a bank account from your stablecoin wallet, then add the funds to your Payoneer balance from that same bank account.

See Withdraw to bank and Adding funds to your balances from your bank for detailed instructions.

What does it mean if my Bridge wallet is still being set up?
The technical setup behind the scenes usually only takes a few minutes but may sometimes take longer than anticipated.

What does it mean if it says that buying stablecoin is not available for my account?
The stablecoin service is subject to eligibility. If you see a message saying that buying stablecoin isn’t available for your account, that means you can’t use your Payoneer balance to buy stablecoin with Bridge. You may still be able to do other actions in your Bridge stablecoin wallet, like send, receive or withdraw to bank. For more information, contact Customer Care.
