While we can't share the specific reason why we blocked/closed your account due to how we are regulated, we might block/close your account if:
- It has been inactive for more than 6 months
If your Payoneer account hasn’t been used since it was opened and there are no funds in your Payoneer balances, your account will be closed due to inactivity.

- You are under 18
We are unable to provide our services to people under 18 years of age.
- You are from a restricted country
Payoneer operates in compliance with regulations from the US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), according to which we cannot provide services to residents of certain countries.
- You attempted to register with mismatching details
When you apply for a Payoneer account:
- Your first and last name and ID number should match your government-issued ID documents
- Your company info should match your company verification documents, such as the Certificate of Incorporation/ Certificate of Registration/ Articles of Organization/Business license
- Your address must be a complete residential address
If the details in your account provided during the registration can't be verified by Payoneer or don’t match the documents provided for the verification, we are unable to keep the account active.
- You already have an account
If you already have an approved Payoneer account or previously applied for a Payoneer account and didn't complete the approval process, we are unable to keep both your accounts active.
- Account security was breached

- You or your account activity does not comply with or breached our Terms and Conditions
In this case we won't be able to re-open your account or register a new account for you. You can read this section of our Terms and Conditions for more information.
